This large Napoleon lll style boulle and gilt metal bureau plat (desk) has a leather lined surface within red tortoiseshell borders, having three dreawers on cabriole legs with espagnolette chutes and rocaille sabots.
Tulip veneer on solid pinewood with marquetry inlaid with finely engraved brass fixtures. Highly decorative Brass fittings and handles from rocaille, acanthus and blooms.
