English Overmantle Mirror

A 19th Century Overmantel Mirror with Neo-Classical Decoration. The cavetto moulded top adorned with a row of ball appliqués above three relief moulded frieze panels: the principle centre panel decorated with a group of young ladies dancing to a piper in landscape, and flanked by classical figures either side. The round bevel edged centre mirror encircled by a ring of flowers and foliage tied with a ribbon bow and flanked by rectangular mirrored side panels, fluted pilasters and scroll capitals.
