Tectona 1800 Madeleine Castaing Bench

The reissue in 2006 of the bench that belonged to Madeleine Castaing underlined the ties that unite Tectona to the history of design. The "great lady of decoration", muse and protector of Chaïm Soutine, had chosen this restoration bench, of perfect proportions, for her garden. A sign of the times, the bench is now considerably lighter, since it is now made of lacquered aluminum. The choice of this unalterable material is consistent with the creation of the 1800 line which offers a complete set of outdoor furniture.
